My willpower sure is being tested. I miss the taste of chocolate, but I know it's a great sacrifice that I'm making.

a chocolate sacrifice
This year for Lent, I decided to give up chocolate. If you know me, then you know that chocolate is one of my ultimate obsessions when it comes to desserts. Who doesn't love it?! There are now two weeks left till Lent is over and I found myself having some crazy chocolate withdrawals at work today. My lovely boss put a nice glass bowl on the corner of my desk, which she loves to fill with candy. Up until Lent, the only candy I've seen in the bowl have been Caramel Nips or fruit candy. How ironic that she suddently started filling the bowl with Easter chocolates...Hershey's, Reese's, and Godiva to name a few.
My willpower sure is being tested. I miss the taste of chocolate, but I know it's a great sacrifice that I'm making.

ReplyDeleteO man thats rough! Everytime I decide to start a diet my grandma always sends me a load of treats! Its sooo hard not to eat them! What I would do if I were you is save some of that chocolate in my drawer and eat it in 2 weeks lol
