harajuku mini

Have you seen this super cute commercial yet?

Over the summer, I talked about Gwen Stefani launching a babies and kids collection at Target in this post. Her Harajuku Mini line has officially been launched at Target stores and it's just in time for Christmas.

The blazer is too cute for words. It's a definite must-have for my little man.

fashion forward friday

I've always been a tad bit afraid of adding a pop of color to my outfits. My safe go-to color when it comes to my wardrobe? Black or gray. I've attempted at adding some color before but nothing as bright as the colors in these outfits. My new style goal: MORE COLOR!

My friends and I are having our 4th Annual Secret Santa Party next month and our theme this year - black and/or red attire. The picture above gave me an idea to dress up a pair of red skinny pants with a black blazer and some pretty jewelry.

I recently discovered this new fashion blog that I'm obsessed with. She's got a great sense of style and she has some awesome giveaways, one of which I've won. (Yay!)

10 years gone by too fast

Last Saturday, I attended my 10 year high school reunion. Yikes, right? It still feels like yesterday when I was in high school. Where did the time go?

When I got the Facebook invitation for the reunion, I suddenly felt...old. Not only was I reminded that it's been that long since I was a high school student, but I was also reminded that I'm 2 years shy of the big 3-0 birthday. Great.

I was very reluctant to attend my reunion. For one thing, I'm already friends with the people I need and want to keep in touch with from high school...and we have Facebook already. Isn't that like a mini reunion right there? Well, I was somehow convinced to go and didn't even have to pay for my ticket since a dear friend offered to buy mine...including my best friend's ticket as well. So...why not?

It was an interesting night. It sorta felt like a dream...or more like twilight zone. I saw people that I didn't even know I went to high school with and some people who I didn't realize how much I missed. The best part? I was with some of my best girlfriends.

I do miss my high school days and sometimes wish I could do it all over again.

The all-night cramming before a big test.
Football and basketball games.
Cheerleading performances at the big rallies.
Cutting a class when I didn't finish an assignment that was due. {seriously, the ONLY time I ever cut school}
Running for Homecoming Queen.
Prom.
Gathering with my closest friends at lunch time.
Falling asleep in History class.
Senior portraits.
Senior trips.
The gossip.
The drama.

What are your favorite high school memories?

who needs mommy?

I've been trying to blog for the past few days, but every time I open up my laptop, I've been kindly interrupted by my wonderful little toddler.

"Mommy, I want juice please."
"Mommy, I want Caillou please."
"Mommy, I want a snack please."
"Mommy, help me please."
"Mommy, Mommy, Mommy."

Excuse me. My son needs my undivided attention! :)
