I would love to make it a routine to make trips to the library as often as we can. My dad enjoyed taking us to the library when my siblings and I were younger. It's one of my most fond memories with him. Anytime we went to the library, we would pick out stacks of books and movies to watch at home. It was a fun experience so it'd be a wonderful thing to see my son enjoy and appreciate the library just like we did.
A few days ago, I took my son on his first trip to the library. I was a little worried before heading there that he'd be hyper and running around, as this is his usual behavior. Luckily, he did an awesome job! I kept whispering to him so he would know that we had to stay quiet. Although he didn't whisper, he still kept his voice to a minimum.
He certainly enjoyed his time there. From the moment we walked in, I could see the excitement on his face. We were in a new place, so of course he was in awe of everything around him. We headed to the children's area and he didn't hesitate to pick out his first set of library books...
