fashion forward friday

I've always been a tad bit afraid of adding a pop of color to my outfits. My safe go-to color when it comes to my wardrobe? Black or gray. I've attempted at adding some color before but nothing as bright as the colors in these outfits. My new style goal: MORE COLOR!

My friends and I are having our 4th Annual Secret Santa Party next month and our theme this year - black and/or red attire. The picture above gave me an idea to dress up a pair of red skinny pants with a black blazer and some pretty jewelry.

I recently discovered this new fashion blog that I'm obsessed with. She's got a great sense of style and she has some awesome giveaways, one of which I've won. (Yay!)

  1. The red skinny pants is very beautiful, you made a good choice. It pops out the skin color..

  3. Adding color is the best thing for outfits. It really just makes you stand out as a person. But I defiantly know what you mean about staying with black and gray as safe colors. Ever since I gained weight with my pregnancy I've been wearing lots of those blacks and grays lol.
Great post, and thanks for introducing me to a great fashion blog!

  6. Great photos! I don't wear a lot of color pops either. I usually stick with more neutral colors, though maybe I should rethink that. :)
